Van Damrongsri is an athlete, technologist, and entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for performance, precision, and personal growth. A former Division I tennis player with a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville, Van began playing tennis at age five and competing at age seven. His journey through elite junior and collegiate competition shaped his mental toughness and technical discipline, but a career-halting injury at 22 shifted his trajectory away from professional tennis.

Van transitioned into coaching at high-level tennis academies, then followed his curiosity into surfing and software development—eventually building a career in tech, contributing as a developer at several innovative companies. In 2023, he dipped his toes into pro pickleball competition and immediately recognized the sport's explosive potential. By the end of 2024, Van co-founded Palmera Pickleball with Geoff and Jeremy Bourgeois, merging his love for athletic excellence with his entrepreneurial and technical acumen.
