History

Our Journey Began on the Courts
In 2023, when Rancho Santana built three new pickleball courts, Geoff and Jeremy picked up a paddle for the first time—and instantly fell in love with the game. What started as a fun way to spend time together quickly turned into a shared passion. By 2024, the entire Bourgeois family was playing seriously, training regularly, and immersing themselves in the growing world of pickleball.

From Passion to Purpose
At the end of 2024, that passion sparked a bigger vision. In partnership with Van Damrongsri, the Bourgeois family launched Palmera Pickleball not only to compete, but to invest in the sport they all believe in. Pickleball is more than a game—it brings people together, transcends cultures, and connects generations. Whether you're eight or eighty, it's a sport that improves health, builds community, and makes joy a shared experience.

Palmera Pickleball is more than a business—it’s a shared family mission rooted in love, commitment, and purpose. For Geoff and his son Jeremy, what began as a casual game quickly grew into a calling. As Jeremy pursues both his development as a competitive player and his path as a young entrepreneur, the rest of the Bourgeois family has joined in, each contributing in unique ways—from leadership and operations to training and content creation.

Being a family-run company means the Bourgeois children are growing up immersed in the values of teamwork, responsibility, and vision. It also means they get to build something meaningful alongside their close friend and neighbor, Van Damrongsri, whose elite coaching is already shaping the next generation of players—starting with their own.
